If you think you might like to consider a career in public speaking, first learn from the best! Wouldn’t you like to know how often top speakers present and what their typical fee is? How do they keep their business growing? Do they use a publicist? What creative ways have they found to utilize the internet and social media to more effectively sell themselves and their products? Where do they find their best content and inspiration as top speakers?
Whether you want to earn a six figure income as a speaking professional, or simply learn what the masters already know, Finding Speaking Success will reveal many of the answers you seek.
Some of their answers may surprise you. Why do some speakers recommend lessons in acting, comedy, and improv? What are they doing now, that they wish they had started sooner? Brian Schwartz is the award winning author and creator of 50 Interviews. In 2009, he released the first title in the series; 50 Interviews: Entrepreneurs Thriving in Uncertain Times. Prior to becoming an ‘authorpreneur,’ he spent 13+ years in corporate America in a variety of sales roles including IBM and several technology startups. In 2008 he set out to interview 50 successful entrepreneurs before quitting his job (at the request of his wife). In doing so, he uncovered several key distinctions between those who are successful and those who are not.
The catalyst for Finding Speaking Success was rooted in his desire to become a paid professional speaker. Following the same framework he used to become a successful entrepreneur, Brian did in fact emerge prior to the completion of this book as a paid professional speaker. Today, Brian is speaking 2-3x per month and enjoying every minute of it.
Today, Brian’s passion is rooted in the company he started tomentor others through the 50 Interviews framework to become authors themselves, and reinvent their own futures. He has been featured on NBC, CBS, and in the Denver Business Journal discussing 50 Interviews.
